ZERO WASTED PATTERN KIMONO CLASS
4 SESSIONS | 6 Hours – Day | Total 24 Hours
Learn how to create an innovative puzzle garment construction, using a sustainable design technique. Create your own Kimono designs that minimize fabric waste which often ends up in landfills. Zero-waste techniques are often unique garments that mold themselves to the nature and dimensions of the initial fabric. Also, some garments create far less waste during production than others. Traditional garments like Indian sarees, Japanese kimonos and African kangas and kitenges, to name a few, can be manufactured with minimal cutting and nearly no wastage.
