ESMOD Jakarta participated in the Fashion Design Competition held by YouC1000 and Indonesian Fashion Chamber (IFC). The 5 ESMOD Jakarta Designers who presented their collections at the fashion show held on October 26, 2019 at Kota Kasablanka were: Renata Stephani, Ulva Rucita, Emma Hale, Ryan Tjendana, and Martina Patricia.

The young and talented ESMOD Jakarta designers showcased their collections based on artistic themes in bright colors. One of them, namely Marina Patricia used paper for her collection. Her collection focuses on creating hand embroideries and playing with real paper material. Renata Stephani brought childhood memories on her collection that influenced by lots of daydream and splash of colour. All of that combine and make a collection with a surreal detailed and vivid colour. Ryan Tjendana told his collection revolving around the use of the colour orange and reflective textures, signifying the encouragement and enlightenment towards the breakthrough.

This competition provides opportunities for young Indonesian designers to gain experience in participating fashion events. At the end of the competition, judges announced the 1st winner from each school and Emma Hale from ESMOD Jakarta was one of the winners.

Esmod Jakarta always encourages the young and talented designers to participate in fashion events and competitions to enhance their knowledge and experience in fashion.
