1.Figurine & Illustration

This is the basic skill required of  every Fashion Designer. Even if one does not have this skill in drawing, the  professional teachers ESMOD Jakarta will coach you In the Figurine & Illustration Class. Here you will learn not only about how to make a fashion silhouette, but you will learn all about coloring techniques and a mini collection.

2.Sewing

In sewing class, you will get to know about the basic of sewing straight and circle/curve lines, seams, and finishing. The teachers will guide you to operate sewing machines and learn about the sewing tools.

3.Pattern Drafting

Here is where you will learn to know about Pattern Drafting. Accuracy is very important when it comes to measuring with perfection, making a garment with the right proportion, choosing the appropriate fabric, and paying attention to the finishing of the product. You will understand the basic construction of making a shirt and skirt based on ESMOD Jakarta’s exclusive book on Women’s Garments.

If you want to further your skill, you could join the design development class and make a cocktail dress, kebaya and modest wear.

You can do all this and be a professional Fashion Designer. But it does not stop here, If you want to be a Designer with a difference, you will be ready to explore more opportunities through our One Year Program and Three Year Program in Fashion Design and Creation. The road goes further to getting a Master Degree in Design – so it is up to you where you want to go and where you want to stop!
